In Neon Newbies, you’ll practice basic bends, learn how to mark and use a pattern, and leave with a lit organic sculpture you bent! You can also add on extra Saturday Studio Practice sessions: a great place to meet fellow benders of many skill levels!

What’s included

• Small group - lots of room for one on one instruction

• Access to a personal work bench with all necessary bending tools: burners, file, block, glass pencils, corks, tube sizer, etc.

• Practice glass and scrap glass

• Blowhose & mouth piece & red tube inserts 

• Brass swivel rental - (these twerps are pricey - you’re welcome to purchase your own)

• A transformer, wiring, and mounting hardware for your lit tube

What can I add on?

• Extra time in the studio. If you’re loving it and want more, consider adding Studio Practice sessions to your class cycle. Studio Practice sessions offer lots of flexibility. You can practice that week’s lesson, flip through our library for inspiration and deeper learning, or bring a personal project (we’ll help you decipher if it’s feasible or not).
  Studio Practice Sessions are Saturdays 10am-2pm, $95 each.

• Personal bending kit. Kits are mix-and-match. They traditionally include a zippy pouch with a file, block, glass pencil, blowhose, mouthpiece, brass swivel and tube sizer.
