Service Description
Students can work on personal projects, hone bending skills, and utilize project support like pattern making, mounting and wiring. NEW! Light Lab sessions are now a choose your own adventure! You mix and match meet-up times that work for your schedule - now including daytime sessions. You choose how many sessions you want to book each 5 week class cycle. Book as many of the following days and times that suit you: Wednesdays 2 - 5pm, Wednesdays 6 - 9pm, and Saturdays 10am - 2pm. How it works: - Sign up on the website: $125 enrollment fee to claim your spot for the 5-week cycle - You’ll receive an email right after with a private link to book as many sessions as you like for that cycle ($95 each). For example, if you wish to have 6 hours every Wednesday, then book both the 2:00 and the 6:00 session. - Choose between Wednesdays 2-5pm, Wednesdays 6-9pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm Availability is first come first claim At least 5 visits recommended to get the most out of your class cycle. What’s included - All students will have access to a work bench with all necessary bending tools: burners, file, block, glass pencils, corks, tube sizer, etc. - Limited practice glass and scrap glass - Access to studio library for lettering inspiration, research, and deeper learning - Pattern plotting (with notice or during the session), support and planning Add-ons and Notes: - Finished tubes can be pumped for $18 per pair of electrodes - Supplies are also available to purchase in studio. - Some experience is required - Prerequisite Neon Newbies or equivalent **Please note - we are now based in a rural area - any changes to current schedules will only be based on emergencies such as power outages or inclement weather. Your flexibility and care are deeply appreciated - any changes will be remedied with either a refund or a credit for rescheduling missed sessions. **If you can’t make a session, 48 hour notice is required for a refund, to reschedule or retain a session credit.
